NGC General Contractors operates through four primary divisions: commercial construction and renovations, EV charger installation and maintenance, conduit and utility construction, and telecommunications infrastructure development.
Our Commercial Construction and Renovations division is responsible for overseeing all of our commercial and government work, although we do have crossover when we can leverage local assets on projects such as work that involves EV and utility construction. We currently have commercial and government work in flight nationwide.

Powering Connections and Building the Future
NGC's EV division services several large clients and multiple automotive dealerships, installing charging stations and the ancillary utility services to support them. We are also factory-trained with several large EV charging manufacturers. This is supported by our in house electricians, construction crews and in part by our conduit and utility construction division.
The Telecommunications Infrastructure division builds, maintains, and upgrades various communications structures from Michigan to Florida and over to Texas, primarily servicing the well-known carriers and owners.
The Utility and Fiber division formed the foundation of NGC's business during its first ten years and remains a vital part of our operations today.

Colt Holeman is a seasoned entrepreneur and the founder of North Georgia Civil, Inc. that he started in 2007. Over the years, Colt has grown his company from the ground up, becoming a trusted name in the industry. His leadership and expertise have enabled him to obtain general contractor licenses in eight states, a testament to his deep knowledge of the trade and commitment to excellence.
A man of strong faith and values, Colt is a Christian and a dedicated family man. He is married and the proud father of two children, balancing his professional achievements with a fulfilling personal life. Colt's business philosophy is rooted in integrity, hard work, and service to others, principles he upholds both in his career and in his role as a husband and father.
As a father, entrepreneur, and licensed contractor, Colt Holeman continues to build his legacy, driven by a passion for growth, quality, and making a positive impact.

Jessica Holeman joined her husband Colt in the business after the birth of their first child, bringing her unique skills and a deep commitment to both family and business. What began as Colt’s entrepreneurial vision in 2007 soon became a true family affair, with Jessica playing an integral role in the growth and success of the company.
As a Christian mother of two, Jessica balances her professional and personal life with grace and dedication. She has embraced her role in the business, contributing to its daily operations and long-term strategy while ensuring that family values remain at the heart of everything they do. Jessica’s passion for both her family and her work reflects her strong belief in the importance of faith, service, and hard work.
Together with Colt, Jessica has helped build a business that not only thrives but also reflects the values they hold dear. Their partnership, both in life and in business, continues to be a driving force behind their success.

Dustin Cross holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Engineering Technology from East Tennessee State University and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a focus on Management and Leadership from Trevecca Nazarene University. With almost 20 years of experience in developing and leading construction-related programs, Dustin is passionate about building high-performing teams, cultivating successful programs, and driving business growth.
A committed follower of Jesus, Dustin strives to embody servant leadership in both his personal and professional life. He resides in the suburbs of Athens, Georgia, with his wife, son, and daughter, embracing his role as a devoted husband and father.
Matt Laman

Director of Commercial Construction
Matt Laman is an accomplished professional with a distinguished career in the commercial construction industry. With over 12 years of industry experience on large-scale projects, Matt combines technical expertise with strategic vision to deliver exceptional results.
Matt began his career in construction management while earning two degrees from Georgia Tech: a bachelor’s in Civil Engineering and a Master’s in Structural Engineering before then going on to earn his PMP. Over the years, he has honed his skills in project planning, budgeting, and team leadership, building a reputation for completing projects on time and within budget while maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety.
As the Director of Commercial Construction at NGC General Contractors, Matt oversees all aspects of commercial construction operations, including project development, client relations, and contractor management. He is responsible for managing diverse teams and coordinating with architects, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure the seamless execution of complex projects.
